SkinPotions Snowberry Sleeping Cream Mask

October 6, 2020

Back when I was still starting in skincare, I opted to try local skincare products first. One of those local brands is Skinpotions that is now very popular in the country. The very first products I bought from them was the Flaunt Thy Lash (Now Peach Thy Lash) serum, Tomato Serum and the Snowberry Cream. But since that was several years ago, I no longer have the packaging and now I’m borrowing their photos for this review. I obtained the photos here: https://skinpotionsph.com/product/snowberry-cream/

I chose this product because it claims to be great for oily, acne-prone skin and it whitens marks too. It contains powerful brightening ingredients such as Papaya Extract, Bearberry Extract, Licorice Extract, Snail Filtrate, Whitenol Extract, Acerola Cherry, and Rice Bran Oil.

Since I’ve a lot of dark spots and my face was darker than my neck, I gave it a try. The first impression I had was it has a powerful fragrance of berries, I think. It smells so sweet and while I have no problems regarding it, those are sensitive to fragrance may find it strong.

It has thick, white, yogurt-like consistency that is very easy to apply and does not leave a sticky feeling. It also hydrates, and it did lighten my dark spots back then. I do hope they didn’t change the formulation because I really loved it!

The only problem I had was I find it a little expensive because it sells for Php 465.00 for 50 grams. I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I use sleeping cream masks, I tend to layer thickly. So 50 grams doesn’t last me long enough. But I really love it though! Kudos to this cream and its very aromatic scent!
