USAGE: (Obtained from stylekorean.com)
Use AM or PM after cleansing with CREAM CLEANSING FOAM or CLEANSING WATER. Apply INTRO SERUM and wait a few seconds for it to be absorbed. Then, using the enclosed applicator, scoop EXTREME CREAM and apply to fingertips. Smooth over entire face and neck in an upward motion.
Starting with the packaging, the product is housed in a 50ml hard plastic tub, with a protective lid and roll on cap. Based on the claims above, it should come with an applicator. Unfortunately, mine doesn’t have one so I use my own scooper. I’m not sure if this is an isolated case but it doesn’t pose a big problem for me.
There is a hint of citrus, but very faint. Nothing too headache-triggering. The entire line has this scent actually and I quite like it. Citrus scents in skincare relaxes me, for some reason.
The texture is probably my favorite. It reminds me of a couple of things. It appears to be a cross between a lard and a frozen yogurt. It’s creamy though, just a little more solid/compact, I don’t know how else to explain. But it appears to melt into a soft, creamy substance when you apply it to your skin.
The application is great. It skids on my skin effortlessly. However, the finish is a little tacky for my liking. It takes time to set, like a really long time. I’ve last applied the cream 2 hours ago and I’m touching my cheeks as I type this. (With clean hands of course!) I can still feel the cream on my face. The stickiness subsided a little but is still there.
RATING: 4/5. I like that it’s extremely moisturizing. It does live up to its name. I believe this is best for those who have really dry or dehydrated skin or those who live in cold climate countries. In my case, I prefer to use this as night since I’m pretty sure I’d look like a grease pan if I used this in the morning.
Now you’ve all seen this coming. The price is a pain in the wallet. It’s very expensive for me and I will not be able to afford this so that answers the repurchase question as well. I’m just really glad I got the chance to try it. Anyway, a little goes a long way so this will last me long. Been using this irregularly since February and I’m not even done with half the tub.
If you have a similar skin condition to what I’ve mentioned above and has extra bucks to shell out, I highly recommend this one. Cheers!
