My Top Three Favorite Sunscreens 2020

April 30, 2020

If you’re a skincare enthusiast, then you probably know that one of our routine’s most vital step, if not the most, is sunscreen. I’ve learned this the hard way when I burnt my face to a crisp last 2015 after an entire day of island hopping without applying any sort of sun protection. I wasn’t into skincare back then so I thought you only needed sunscreen when, well, there’s sun lol.

Now I wear sunscreen all day, regardless of where I am, be it indoors or outdoors. Now that we are all on quarantine, still make sure to wear sunscreen at all times.

Today I’m sharing with you my top 3 favorite sunscreens. From Left to Right: Eyenlip Tea Tree Sun Cream, MizuMi UV Water Serum and DR & CO Silky Sun Milk.

1. MizuMi UV Water Serum SPF50+ PA++++ UVA1/A2/B

This was sent to me by the brand last year and it was love at first application. This is a 100% non-physical sunscreen, the first of its kind, in my stash that is. It’s very lightweight, has a refreshing scent which is perfect for summer, and even has a cooling effect. It is also free from the five most common harmful ingredients. Plus it doesn’t have whitecast too so it’s perfect for selfies lol. The only downside to this is the price, since it’s very expensive. You can check my complete review here.

2. Eyenlip Tea Tree Suncream SPF 50+ PA+++

This was a freebie I received from beautynetkorea along with the actual gift which was a Ceramide cleanser. At first I thought the smell was bad, wasn’t really a fan of tea tree before. But I learned to love it eventually because of the texture, which looked a little thick but is in fact weightless on the skin. It also has a tone up effect, giving me a bright, even toned and glowing skin even without makeup.

3. DR & CO Silky Sun Milk SPF50+ PA++++

This was generously gifted to us by Lipstick Pls during the Skinfluencers PH event. I love how lightweight this one is too, and similar to the Eyenlip one, it also has a tone up effect, making it perfect for an everyday no makeup-makeup look. It also has an excellent staying power, making sure you are protected half of the day with a single use. I wish the brand could release a larger version of this one since it’s just so good! Definitely one for the books! See my complete review here.

      Never tried this 3, but the Dr. & Co seems really interesting given its price point.
