I am a die-hard fan of thrift stores ever since I was teenager. I liked the thrill of bulldozing through mountains of vintage clothes and finding a gem amidst the disarray and knowing you can get those gems for half the prizes at the malls, or even lower!
I discovered my personal style because of thrift stores. They have the most unique and prettiest of tops and dresses and everything I could want and more. One of my favorite thrifted ensembles is this Nude blazer with sheer organza as sleeves and this floral, tube-styled dress with ruffled hem. I can wear the pieces separately or together and it still looks great!
I like how this floral dress is chic enough to be worn at tropical-themed parties or a garden wedding perhaps? Or maybe ditch the heels and wear some comfortable gladiators and strut your stuff at the beach side and you’d still look great.
Meanwhile, it’s a good thing that this blazer is in this nice, neutral hue which makes it so versatile. The combination of cotton and organza is such a genius that you can wear it to corporate events or even to the malls for a late night stroll. I can imagine wearing this blazer over white tank tops, shorts with a wide brown belt and a pair of killer heels too!
Let me know what you think!
