Luxe Organix 99.85% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Review

July 14, 2020

Good Tuesday morning from sunny PH! What a drastic change of weather it was. Just yesterday, it was dark and gloomy from the wee hours of the morning until the evening with moderate downpours in between. And now I woke up to a bright and sunny morning like nothing happened!

Anyway, today I felt like reviewing my current Aloe Vera Gel which I bought from Watsons a few months back. I haven’t used it up since I have another tub of gel in my stash, which isn’t Aloe gel though. That’s another review for another day.

PRODUCT NAME: Luxe Organix 99.85% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

PRICE: PHP 209.00

Aloe barbadensis leaf extract (99.85%), alcohol, glyceryl polyacrylate, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, glycerin, propylene glycol 1,2-hexanediol polygutamic acid, betaine, sodium hyaluronate, calendula officinalis flower extract, mentha virdis (spearmint) extract, melissa officinalis extract, carbomer, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, triethanolamine, phenoxyethanol, water, parfum, disodium edta

– Soothes damaged skin due to sunburn
– Treats dry hair
– May be used as an aftershave cream
– Relaxes swollen eyes
– Hydrates dry lips

I personally use this as a lotion, since I currently have extremely dry body skin. I also apply some on my armpits, yes!

Firstly, the packaging looks like any other aloe vera gel tub sold in the market. The 300 ML product is housed in a sturdy plastic green tub with a protective lid before the cap. I prefer aloe gels in tubs rather than those housed in squeezable tubes for some reason. Maybe since I could scoop the product out up to the last ounce, which of course is quite economical for this stingy fart.

99.85% of pure aloe vera gel is such an enticing label for organic skincare junkies like me. The only aloe gel product that I’ve tried before Luxe Organix was that of cult favorite’s Nature Republic’s aloe soothing gel which contains 92% of aloe leaf extract. The latter is also priced just a tad bit more expensive than Luxe Organix’s but truth be told, I don’t see nor feel any difference.

Both of the products had been quite good to me in terms of hydrating my dry skin or helping some skin wounds heal a bit faster. Both of these don’t leave a tacky after-feel as well. Suffice to say, both get the job well done.

I just had to post this. How cool does this look under the lights of my keyboard? haha

RATING: 5/5. I’m giving this a perfect five because of its effectiveness, affordability, and accessibility. It moisturizes the skin and even works well on my frizzy hair so that’s a plus. Moreover, Luxe Organix is sold at Watsons which means you can literally find this product everywhere and at a very affordable price too.

REPURCHASE? I will repurchase this again and again!
