iWHITE KOREA Aqua Pure Gel Toner Review UPDATE!

September 3, 2020

Hello! This is an update related to the review post attached below. To be honest, this is long overdue so I apologize, but I’m still adding this up. After a few more weeks of usage of this product, it broke me out. I’m not sure which of the ingredients here caused my breakouts after some time but I am certain that this was the product that caused it. Because I slowly eliminated products from my routine when I did break out horribly, and this was one of those products that went on a hiatus. My skin recovered after that so I slowly re-incorporated them to my routine, one by one.

I started developing small bumps again right after when I started re-using this, so I once more, I removed it. The cycle repeated itself. So I’m pretty sure this was the culprit. Sadly, I really did love this for a time plus it’s very affordable. But I won’t be using this anymore anytime soon. In case this is working well for you, that’s great!

Do remember that we have different skin types and issues and the products that work for me may or may NOT work for you. It’s still a matter of research and trials and errors.

That’s all. Thanks for understanding!

Hi Everyone! I’m back with another iWhite Korea product feature and I’m reviewing one of their latest releases which is the Aqua Pure Gel Toner! You read that right, a toner in gel form! The first thing that came to mind when I read that was it’s going to be hydrating for sure and of course, anti-aging as well. I had that idea with an aloe vera gel in mind by the way.

Anyway, scroll down right away if you’ve had enough of my rambles. Read on!

VOLUME : 8 ml sachet

PRICE: Php 20.00

Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Green Tea leaf Extract, Rice Bran Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Mulberry Bark Extract

  • Balances skin’s PH level
  • Hydrates and replenishes skin after cleansing
  • Gently soothes the skin
  • Improves absorption of other skincare products

I use this as I would any regular toner, twice a day. A pea sized amount is enough for the entire face and neck area.

First of all, this is one very unique product. Have you ever encountered a gel type toner? Because this one is quite new to me! If I can describe it a bit more, imagine an aloe vera gel but a little watery. It’s not jiggly and doesn’t retain its shape for very long. I hope that made sense.

Anyway, it has a sweet scent. If you have tried using the Aqua gel moisturizer from the same brand, it’s scent is somewhat similar to it. It’s rather sweet, I can say a little bit strong so if you’re scentsitive, you might not like it a lot.

The application is a breeze, and you can take that literally too because it has some cooling effect. Because of it’s lightweightness, it absorbs pretty fast without stickiness.

There’s no “brightening effect” from the above-mentioned claims but I noticed that my face somehow looks brighter and even-toned whenever I wake up in the morning. I’m using this together with the Aqua Glow moisturizer and they seem to be a great duo!

RATING: 5/5. Price wise, I say it’s excellent! For an 8ml sachet, it goes a long way. I’ve been using this for about two weeks already and I still have a half sachet full. The full sized one contains 85ml and retails for Php 195.00. Still, not bad at all!

It’s also Paraben, Triclosan and Talc-free so it’s safe for TTC wives like me.

Lastly, I honestly love the effects it has on my skin. Despite the fragrance, it didn’t give me irritations, rather, it seemed to have smoothened my skin and it brightened too. Needless to say, I love this toner and I will definitely repurchase!
