How to Slay Color Blocking

December 29, 2019

Color Blocking is a scheme of wearing two or more solid colors in a single ensemble. It is mostly seen in bright and eye-catching shades. The result is effortless yet looks quite put together.

I seldom see color blocking styles here in the country, except of course, for the more well-known style bloggers and in high-end printed magazines. Since those bold and bright hues are normally associated with Summer, and summer is just around the corner, I decided to revive my favorite color blocking outfit that I styled years back.

This was posted in my old blog so please ignore the watermarks lol. Check it out below and let me know what you think!

In this entire outfit, my favorite piece would be the pants which I bought from a thrift store in Tagaytay City many years ago. The striking Blue shade already screams CHIC on its own. Even when you’re not in the mood to color block, you can just throw on a crisp white shirt and white shoes and you’re ready to slay!

I also love this Hot Pink blazer that will also look good on an all White outfit. Who doesn’t like versatile pieces though?

What I Wore: Top from DSDRTM , Necklace from AI Fashion, Blazer and Pants are both thrifted, Celine-inspired bag from Looksmart Shop and Shoes from Celine

Let me know your thoughts about color blocking too! Ciao for now~
