HEIMISH Make Up and Skin Care Set Review

March 12, 2020

Good Summer morning from this tropical part of the world! I’m back with another review and suprise! I’m reviewing three products from the popular K-beauty Brand Heimish, as gifted by for their “Try Me, Review Me” event. I will be sharing my thoughts on their Mascara, Mist Serum and Mask Pack. Scroll down below to know my opinions on each!

VOLUME: 9 grams

PRICE: 14,000 KRW / PHP 593.00 / USD 11.67

  • Perfect for those who prefers natural looking makeup
  • Does not crumble nor cake
  • Smudge proof but easily washable

Vegetable wax (Camauba wax), VP / Eicosene Copolymer

Use as you would a regular mascara. Adjust the amount as necessary.

I personally love this mascara, as someone whose lashes are almost non-existent. It looks pretty natural, not over the top, making it a great option for everyday use. Plus it doesn’t cake nor crumble.  Washing it off my lashes are also a breeze despite being smudge-proof.

RATING:  5/5. I finally found a mascara that works for me.  It looks great and natural so if I’m going for a no make-up, makeup look, this is the perfect option.

PRICE: 24,000 KRW / PHP 1,016.00 / USD 20.00

  • Contains 88% Bulgarian Rose Water
  • Offers whitening and wrinkle improvement properties
  • Supplies nutrients and moisturization

Rose Damascena Flower Water 88%, Rose Oil, Niacinamide, Adenosine

Shake well enough and spray onto your entire face, including your neck from about 20-30 cm distance and pat it lightly to absorb. I use this daily and several times a day, especially when my skin feels extra parched from Summer.

The packaging is very beautiful in its White and Pink bottle with a snap-on cap. It’s spray nozzle is easy to use and the mist is very fine. I like that the bottle is very transportable as well, not too huge nor small and fits perfectly well into my travel kit. Since it’s already Summer here in PH, my skin feels a lot more dehydrated so I make sure to reach out for this from time to time, to give my skin that instant boost of hydration and nourishment. It also gives that fresh floral scent, which I’m very much fond of. As for the whitening and wrinkle improvement areas, I guess I need a lot more time to see those changes.

RATING:  5/5. I’m a sucker for face mists so I immediately fell in love with this one. But I am more biased since its principal ingredient is Rose Water which I so love. Additional perks would be the inclusion of active ingredients such as Niacinamide and Adenosine, making it a 2-in-1 weapon against dryness and dullness.

PRICE: 22,000 KRW / PHP 931.00 / USD 18.00

  • Immediately shrinks pores
  • Relieves swelling
  • Strengthens skin elasticity

Black Tea Extract, Litchi Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract

Gently apply the product over dry face except for eyes areas, after cleansing. Wash it off with warm water after 5 to 10 minutes.

First of all, the Brown glass jar looks very elegant, even the Aztec-looking design of the box makes it all the more sophisticated. I like that it has a protective lid and a built in spatula as well. Upon opening the lid, the aromatic cedarwood scent emanates and soothes right away. Take a look as well at the texture. It somehow reminds me of a mashed potato, but a lot more mushy, if that makes any sense. There’s an instant cooling effect upon application of the product which lingers on a bit. It’s quite easy to rinse off as well. However, I see no difference on the pores, contrary to what was claimed. Perhaps I need to use this continuously to see improvements.

RATING:  5/5. Despite what I’ve mentioned about the pore shrinking claims, I still love this product since it’s very cooling and soothing and you can feel  the extra smoothness and bounciness of my skin as soon as I rinsed it off. I am hoping to actually witness it shrink my pores in the long run.

That’s it! Overall, I’m in love with all the products sent to me by and I have immediately become a fan of Heimish. I’m quite thankful for the opportunity to try and review this brand since this stingy fart may never be able to afford these lol. See you on the next reviews!

Much Love,
