BIORÉ UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel Review

October 7, 2020

Ever since I’ve learned the importance of sunscreen in my daily life, I made sure to say sunscreen whenever I was asked what gift I wanted for my birthday or for any occasion. This was the situation when one of my closest friends went to Japan and she asked me what souvenir I wanted and since I was yet to try any Biore product at that time, I simply asked for the Biore Sunscreen which was largely hyped in the skin community.

So this was what I got, the Biore UV Watery Gel SPF50+ PA++++. Basically, I loved how lightweight this was. True to its name, it was indeed watery, unlike most sunscreens that have thick, creamy consistencies. This one is almost milky, can even pass as an essence-like product. One of the best ingredients this contained is the Hyaluronic Acid that keeps your skin moisturized and well-hydrated for the day.

Another thing to love about this sunscreen is how it wasn’t sticky as well and did not have a white cast.

During this time, I wasn’t yet that particular with having alcohol in the ingredients. And I learned this the hard way when I began developing pimples on my face during the course of usage of this product. Yes, it does contain alcohol since, primarily, it is a chemical sunscreen and it is mainly used to stabilize the UV filters in the formula of this product. However, it can cause dryness and irritation especially if you have quite sensitive skin like mine.

But, having said that, a lot of people still rave about this and it seems their skin love this product so if you want to try this one, by all means! Go for it. It’s just my skin condition anyway. You can purchase this for Php 532.00 from
