It’s been a while since I reviewed a sheet mask. And actually, it’s also been a while since I used one so I’m wearing one now as I’m typing this and it feels so, so good to use one again. This is going to be a quick review. This A’BLOOM Avo-Cuddle-Me Nourishing Avocado Mask has been going on for years. I first saw this from Althea Korea but this is my first time using one. This was given to me by a friend early this year. My first impression, to be honest, was OMG this is so cute! Because I love Mint Green so I’m super in love with the packet, plus it has a really cute design too.
I immediately smelled the fruity scent as soon as I opened it. The scent is mild, smells fresh so I was really excited. When I took the sheet out, it was completely soaked with the essence that the liquid kept dripping on my floor. Good thing I was in the bathroom when I took it out but I still did make a little mess in there.
One thing I disliked about the sheet mask itself was it’s very difficult to unfold. It was thin, which I liked, but it was so thin and soaked that it literally took me a minute or two just unfolding it. When I applied it on my face, the sheet mask was huge, horizontally. It was wide, so there was a lot of excess fabric on the sides of my face, as you can see from the photos below. Yet, the height of the fabric was short that it reached just around the perimeter of my face. I hope I’m making sense here.
As claimed, this mask is packed with antioxidants that nourish and protect the skin from harmful environmental factors and it also prevents wrinkles. This is Infused with avocado extracts and hibiscus for soft supple skin. The notable ingredients of this sheet mask are Adenosine, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract.
Also, this is quite affordable, at Php 40.00 per packet that you can purchase from Althea Korea through this link.
Overall, I loved how hydrating this was. My skin’s feeling a lot oilier than usual so I assumed it was dehydrated. Probably because I haven’t been using sheet masks as frequently as before so I quickly reached out for this. I absolutely loved it, except for that width and height part that I’m still not sure if I explained clearly.
